In conjunction with the Concord Museum/ Morgan Library and Museum exhibition This Ever New Self: Thoreau and His Journal, the Concord Museum presents a day-long symposium at the Fenn School in Concord, bringing together eight scholars to discuss what they discovered in Thoreau’s Journal, and what Thoreau’s writings mean for us today. Join Christine Nelson, David Wood, Robert Gross, Sandra Petrulionis, Richard Primack, Lois Brown, John Hessler, and Robert Thorson for an exciting and illuminating day. All those with an interest in why Thoreau matters today are encouraged to attend; high school and college students are warmly welcomed!
