In this special series, the Guild of Volunteers is pleased to showcase six Concord homes decorated for the holidays with boundless charm, creativity, and the joys of the season.  Each video tour, professionally produced by Sam Krueger Cinema and hosted by Ellen Whitney, is a feast for the eyes and a fount of holiday inspiration.  Plus, enjoy bonus content from local partners on topics like:

  • Holiday wreath-making
  • Flower arranging
  • Festive cookie decorating

Tickets are a great holiday gift!

Episode List:

Yuletide Cheer
Winter Wonderland
Deck the Halls
Handmade Holidays
Home for the Holiday
Merry and Bright (pictured at left)

After purchasing tickets, you (and your gift recipients, if applicable) will receive an email at the end of the day with links to access all six episodes. If registering after 5pm, you will receive the email links the following day.

Each episode will remain available for participants to watch or re-watch anytime using the links provided in the email.

As it always has, the event celebrates the holiday season in Concord and provides critical support for the Museum’s education initiatives.  The Holiday House Tour is one of the Museum’s largest annual fundraisers.  Your ticket purchase directly supports our ability to continue offering education resources for local schools, exhibitions reflecting inclusive historical scholarship, and public programs featuring nationally renowned historians.

Can I watch the tours at a different time?

Yes!  After each video tour is released, it will remain available for participants to watch or re-watch anytime using the links provided in the emails.

What if I don’t receive an email?

Please check your spam folder and mark any Holiday House Tour emails “not spam” to receive future emails to your inbox.  If you do not find the missing item in your spam folder, please contact elawrence@concordmuseum.org.

Can I register after the tour has already begun?

Yes!  If you register after the tour has begun, you will receive the content you missed at the end of the day that you registered, or the following morning if you registered after 5pm.

Can I buy a ticket for someone else as a gift?

Yes!  Provide the gift recipient’s email address under “additional questions” during registration.  The gift registrant will receive the six-part tour from December 11-13.  They will not receive a receipt of the transaction or a registration confirmation.  You can notify the recipient about their gift in advance of the tour, or let it be a surprise!

I’m not sure what to expect during the virtual tour.  Can you explain?

Although there are some new surprises for the virtual Holiday House Tour, our virtual Garden Tour, held in June 2020, offers an idea of what to expect.  See examples here:

Part 2: Outdoor Living

Part 3: Beautiful Blooms
