Overview

Diana Greenwald, Assistant Curator of the Collection at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, joins us for a conversation on 19th century artistic production, using new quantitative evidence to shed fresh insights on the effects of industrialization, gender, and empire on the art world, modeling a more expansive approach for studying art history in the age of the digital humanities. Diana will be in conversation with Paris Amanda Spies-Gans, historian of art and author of A Revolution on Canvas.
