"When children see themselves in books, imagination sparks and potential grows in surprising and unexpected ways. I hope my art helps inspire kids to reach for the stars, to become, to create, to learn, and to love life in whatever they choose to do."
Award-winning illustrator Nicole Tadgell, Honorary Chair, Family Trees 2020
For 25 years, Family Trees has been a beloved holiday tradition, inspiring imaginations and fostering a love of reading for children and adults alike. Help us continue to inspire the next generation of readers by making a gift today!
Consider making your gift in memory or in honor of someone special in your life—a favorite teacher who ignited a love of reading, a caretaker or friend who read stories together with you or your children, or even a favorite author or illustrator.
Family Trees Memories
Generations of families have enjoyed Family Trees over the past 25 years. Though fashions and hairstyles may have changed, Family Trees still celebrates the many joys of reading and the creativity of our community.
Whether you’ve visited once or twenty-five times, we want to hear your memories! Share your stories and photos with us for a chance to be featured in our social media and/or at the Museum. Please send materials to email@example.com.
Family Trees at Home
Join in the fun of Family Trees at home! Select a favorite book and make an ornament based on the story. It could show your favorite character, an event that happened in the book, or your favorite quote from the book. Get creative, and send a photo of you with your ornament to firstname.lastname@example.org for a chance to be featured in our social media and/or at the Museum.
Read through the Family Trees Gallery Guide to learn more about each book.
