Musketaquid Archaeological Collections Internship
Summer 2024
The Concord Museum is pleased to open applications to a paid summer internship within the Collections Department. The nine-week internship will develop museum collections management skills while supporting the Collections Department by conducting a comprehensive inventory and cataloging of the archaeological collection as part of NAGPRA compliance. The Concord Museum currently stewards a collection of about 30,000 archaeological items collected in Concord and surrounding towns in the 19th and early 20th century. Under the supervision of the Collections Director, internship duties and experience will include NAGPRA Duty of Care along with working as part of a team on item inventory and database entry. The Concord Museum encourages applicants from diverse cultural backgrounds.

The internship program requires a commitment of 30 hours a week (Monday – Friday) for 9 weeks and offers hourly pay at $15.00.
