Membership FAQs

What is a Dual Membership?

A Dual membership entitles two adults to all membership benefits; at least one of the adults present for admission must be named on the membership card.

How many people does my membership admit for regular Museum admission?

Individual: 1 adult
Dual: 2 adults
Family: 2 adults and their children or grandchildren under age 18
Contributor: 2 adults and their children or grandchildren under age 18
Patron: 2 adults and their children or grandchildren under age 18, plus an additional 2 guests
Benefactor: 2 adults and their children or grandchildren under age 18, plus an additional 4 guests
Lantern Society: 2 adults and their children or grandchildren under age 18, plus an additional 4 guests

Individual, Dual, Family, and Contributor members receive complimentary guest passes valid for one admission each. Individual members receive 1 pass, Dual and Family members receive 2 passes, and Contributor members receive 3 passes. To purchase additional guest passes, please call (978) 369-9763, ext. 211.

Why are there price ranges for membership levels rather than fixed dues?

We are pleased to offer membership price ranges so that members have more flexibility in choosing their level of support for each membership category. Gifts between the listed membership ranges include all benefits of membership at that level. All membership dues are fully tax-deductible and directly support the Museum’s mission and educational efforts. We hope you will consider a gift above the baseline membership price to show your support for the Museum and all that we do.

Are guest passes valid during Family Trees?

Yes! Guest passes are valid year-round, including during the Museum’s annual holiday fundraising exhibit, Family Trees: A Celebration of Children’s Literature.

Do guest passes expire?

Complimentary guest passes expire one year from date of issue. The expiration date can be found on the back of each pass. Purchased guest passes do not expire.

Can I automatically renew my membership?

Setting your membership to automatically renew is easy and provides the Museum with reliable, ongoing support so that we can dedicate more of our efforts directly towards programs and activities that advance our mission. Automatic renewal also saves you time and hassle and reduces the Museum’s fundraising costs and environmental impact.

To enroll in the automatic renewal program, click here. Select your membership level and then click on the “Annual (1 per year)” option under “Payment Plan.” Or, you may check the automatic renewal box on your paper membership renewal form. Your credit or debit card will be debited annually, renewing your membership automatically so that you continue to receive all the benefits of membership with the Concord Museum without interruption.

An email giving you the opportunity to upgrade your membership level, update contact information, or cancel participation will be sent 2 months before your renewal date. You may cancel your participation at any time by emailing membership@concordmuseum.org or calling (978) 369-9763, ext. 211.
