Reflections on Gender in Early America
March 31, 2021 at 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Join us for a conversation with renowned historian, Mary Beth Norton, whose scholarship explores the role women played in the narrative of our nation’s founding. She will discuss four of her award-winning books which, taken together, emphasize the unique roles women played in both colonial and revolutionary America including: Liberty’s Daughters; Founding Mothers and Fathers; Separated by Their Sex; and In the Devil’s Snare: The Salem Witchcraft Crisis of 1692.
Donations are encouraged to support the Concord Museum’s Education initiatives.
Professor Norton’s books are available through the Concord Bookshop!
This program is supported in part by the Sally Lanagan Fund.
