On opening day, visit the Museum’s new special exhibition Interwoven: Women’s Lives Written in Thread, which highlights needlework produced by young women in New England, with a specific focus on the extraordinary collection of eighteenth and nineteenth century samplers at the Concord Museum.  These vibrant samplers offer a distinctive picture of how young women were creating records of their own lives, written in thread.
