Let’s meet at the Peabody Essex Museum for a tour of their Mass Fashion collaborative exhibit, Empresses of China’s Forbidden City.  Together we will explore how the Empresses of China shaped the Qing Dynasty, the last Dynasty in China from 1644 -1912.  This is the first exhibit to take a deeper look into the lives of the Qing Dynasty Empresses and to share their stories.
