Travels with George: A Conversation with Nathaniel Philbrick

November 18, 2021 7:00 PM — 8:00 PM

Bestselling author Nathaniel Philbrick will discuss his new book, Travels with George.  When George Washington became president in 1789, the United States was a loose and quarrelsome confederation so he undertook a tour of all thirteen ex-colonies to talk to ordinary citizens.  In retracing Washington’s journey, Mr. Philbrick weaves history and personal reflection into a single and wonderfully engaging narrative.

This program is supported in part by the Sally Lanagan Fund.

This program is both in-person at the Concord Museum and livestreamed to a virtual audience.  Please indicate during registration which ticketing option you are choosing.
